At IDLE HOUR, LLC, each piece is carefully selected for its character, craftsmanship, and history. Because we specialize in vintage and antique objects, every item is inherently unique, carrying the marks of time that make it one of a kind.
 
A Note on Vintage Pieces
Our collections are made up of pre-owned vintage and antique items. As such:
• Each piece is often unique and not newly manufactured
• Signs of age, wear, patina, and prior use are part of its character
• Descriptions and photographs are provided to represent each item as accurately as possible
 
All Sales
Because of the one-of-a-kind nature of our collection, all sales are considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of purchase.
 
When Exceptions May Apply
In select circumstances, we may consider a return or exchange at our discretion, including:
• Significant discrepancy between description and item received
• Pre-approved returns agreed in writing prior to purchase
• Special arrangements for trade or design clients made on a piece-by-piece basis
 
Damaged or Problematic Deliveries
If your piece arrives with damage or an issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item, packaging, and issue. There are no exceptions.
 
Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise stated:
• Shipping costs are non-refundable
• Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility
 
Holding & Order Cancellations
Items are not reserved until payment is completed. Once an order is confirmed, it typically cannot be canceled.
 
Our Approach
We encourage clients to reach out prior to purchase with any questions. Our photos are considered part of the condition report, so we encourage our buyers to thoroughly inspect all photos before making their purchase.
