Because many items are unique and may receive interest from multiple buyers, we may, at our discretion, agree to place an item on temporary hold.

• Items not purchased within the hold period may be released for sale without notice

4. Orders & Payment

Third-Party Carrier Conduct & Property Conditions
Idle Hour utilizes independent third-party carriers, freight companies, movers, installers, and delivery providers.

• acts or omissions of third-party delivery providers
• property damage caused during delivery
• access limitations
• building restrictions
• installation-related damage
• floor, wall, doorway, stairway, elevator, or surface damage
• carrier misconduct or negligence
Customers are responsible for:
• ensuring safe and lawful delivery access
• protecting floors, surfaces, and property where appropriate
• communicating delivery restrictions in advance
Claims relating to delivery conduct or property damage may need to be pursued directly with the applicable carrier.
Installation & Placement Disclaimer
Any placement, assembly, installation, mounting, or positioning services performed by third-party carriers, movers, contractors, or installers are conducted independently and at the customer's risk.
Idle Hour is not responsible for:
• installation quality
• mounting failure
• structural compatibility
• electrical compatibility
• improper assembly
• post-delivery shifting or movement
• injuries or property damage arising from installation or placement
Customers are responsible for obtaining qualified professionals where appropriate.
Customer Handling & Assumption of Risk
Vintage and antique items may be:
• heavy
• fragile
• unstable
• irregularly balanced
• constructed according to historical rather than modern standards
Customers assume responsibility for:
• handling
• placement
• installation
• maintenance
• inspection after delivery
• safe and appropriate use
Idle Hour is not responsible for injuries or damages arising from:
• misuse
• improper handling
• improper installation
• failure to secure items appropriately
• unintended use of vintage or antique objects
Freight Claim Cooperation
Customers agree to cooperate reasonably with freight, carrier, or insurance claim procedures, including:
• retaining packaging materials

• signing carrier documentation accurately
• permitting inspections where required
Failure to cooperate may limit available remedies or carrier recovery.
Shipment Insurance
Shipment insurance, where available, may be limited by:

6. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
Due to the unique nature of our inventory, all sales are generally final.

All trade purchases are final sale unless otherwise agreed in writing.
